Working Drawings
Working drawings contain all the information provided by planning drawings plus:
- Detailed construction details on foundation, floors, roof and any other aspect of the design to assist builer in both pricing and building
- Electrical layout
- Specification details outlining clients chosen finishes, fixtures, fittings, heating source etc.
- Detailed specification booklet
Working drawings are a combination of detailed information covering design, building regulations etc., required by the builder together with the personal choices of the client. Therefore it is imperitive that the client has by whatever means informed themselves of what they can have and at what cost provisionally.
Note: Only working drawings should be used for the purpose of tendering and constructing to eliminate oversight, unnecessary hidden extras etc.
